Print Making-Linocuts
Wednesdays: March 19,26 & April 2 Time: 12:30-2:30 pm

Linocut prints are produced by the transfer of ink from a raised surface on a linoleum block, on to a sheet of
paper. The artist creates a design on the block, and cuts away the linoleum around the desired design. This
class will teach linocut techniques thru demonstration and examples of Susan Linder's finished designs and
prints.
Since this is a series of 3 classes, students will have a chance to create more than one design and multiple
copies of these designs. Safety-Kut will be used in place of linoleum for ease and speed of cutting.
