DESCRIPTION:The Art of Eco Print & Needle Felting with Reem Khalil \nDay1: Explore the art of Eco-printing/Eco-dyeing\, a contemporary application of the traditions of natural dyeing. In eco printing plants are transferred on to fiber using heat to draw out the tannins. We will be creating our work on a silk scarf. \nDay 2: We will unveil our printed scarf and learn the technique of needle felting. Each piece will be outlined in unique way using wool to embellish your design and give more dimension. Each participant will take home their artful creation. \nTeacher: Reem Khalil \nFee: $50 \nMarch 16 and 23\, 2022\, Class time is 11AM to 2PM. This class is held on two consecutive Wednesdays in the Art Room of the Susi Q.
