Carolyn and Mia will share a wide selection of unique papers and adornments they have collected over the years. \nLearn the art of Japanese Kirigami – the folding and cutting of decorative papers. Each student will create several floral and cloud-like images and cards for sending greetings. Using your own artist vision\, artwork will be adorned and  embellished. \nGet in the Holiday spirit and create keepsakes for friends and family. DESCRIPTION:LOCA Arts Education is presenting it’s Art on the Wild Side series of family workshops at Rivian South Coast Theater. Events are on select Saturdays monthly\, 10:00am-11:00am. \nThe March 21 workshop is “Draw the Octopus”. The fun event will start with a video introduction by Educators from Crystal Cove State Park. The video will teach about how an octopus lives\, and why they are important. \nFollowing the video\, art teachers from LOCA will lead everyone\, step-by-step\, in creating beautiful color sketches of octopus to take home. Adults\, teens\, and children invited. Event is free\, but registration is required\, now through March 19 \nDoors open 9:45am. \nRivian South Coast Theater\n162 S.
