Art Club ~ Gallery Owners

January’s Art Club will be a discussion about the artist / gallery relationship. How do galleries find their artists, and what they look for in that person? How should artists present themselves to galleries they admire? From the gallerys point of view what is key to a successful long term relationship, and what are the most common problems in working with artists? It will be of great interest to hear what a gallery wants in an artist in addition to their artwork.
Presenters will include Sue Greenwood, owner of Sue Greenwood Fine Art, Michael and Kelsey Irvin, co-owners of Kelsey-Michaels Fine Art, Todd Kenyon, owner of Pure Laguna Beach, and others. They will discuss their business perspectives, and working relationships between artists and galleries.
Wine and snacks will be provided. Free to members, guests $20. Metered parking on the street.
