Bead Stringing with Sherry Salito-Forsen

Two Day Workshop: Wednesdays December 4 & 11, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00pm

Have fun designing and creating your own custom beaded necklace and or earrings. You’ll use beads of glass, bone, acrylic, crystal, stone and other materials, strung on professional jewelers wire with high quality metallic fittings to create your own one of a kind wearable art. Materials are provided although students are welcome to bring their own beads. There will also be a selection of specialty beads at an additional cost for interested students.

This class series is held on two consecutive Wednesdays in the Art Room of the Susi Q.

Teacher: Sherry Salito-Forsen A 32 year Festival of Arts veteran, Sherry Salito-Forsen has made art her life. Her jewelry is just one of her many artistic expressions.

Fee: $40 for two classes (December 4 & 11 from 1:00-4:00pm).

This Class is part of LOCA’s Senior Art Escapes program at the Art Room in the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Senior Center. Enrollment is limited to students 50 yrs and up.
