Multi-Media with Mada Leach: Paper Dyeing~Workshop sold out, email LOCA to be placed on a wait list

Three Day Workshop: Wednesdays October 9, 16, 23, 2019 from 1:00 – 4:00pm
October 16: Paper Dyeing Create all kinds of designs on papers, using Shibori techniques such as scrunch and run, pole wraps, etc. Stitching on papers will be discussed, as well as other techniques originally developed for silk but adapted to papers.
These papers are ideal for use in collage.
This class series is held on three consecutive Wednesdays in the Art Room of the Susi Q.
Teacher: Mada Leach recently retired from running the education program for the Festival of Arts where she exhibited her work for more than 25 years. She continues to work in her studio and teach workshops and classes.

This Class is part of LOCA’s Senior Art Escapes program at the Art Room in the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Senior Center. Enrollment is limited to students 50 yrs and up.
