These are the short fibers left after cotton is milled for making tee shirts. The mulberry bark paper is made from the long fibers of the mulberry tree’s bark. This paper is a traditional paper called KOZO.

The following week students will be using the papers created during the first class. Students will mold their paper into ornament shapes, bowls or fashion the paper into shapes for collaged cards.
