Local arts leader Mary Ferguson, who plans to relocate to Santa Fe shortly, will be honored at the Laguna Outreach for Community Arts fundraiser, Living La Vida LOCA, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, at Madison Square and Garden Cafe, 320 N. Coast Highway.

LOCA will recognize Ferguson’s contributions, ranging from service on the city’s Arts Commission and the boards of the Laguna College of Art and Design and LOCA, where, along with Sherry Bullard, she co-founded the Art and Sea Lions workshops at Pacific Marine Mammal Center.

Proceeds support the education programs of LOCA. Tickets, $40-$50 include food and wine. Register at LOCAarts.org or call 949-363-4700.
